The rudeness of complete strangers always surprises me. I mean...where do they get the balls to say the things they say to other people? And I don't mean kids, kids don't really know any better. And I also don't mean teenagers, they're going through a lot what with puberty and all so a little rudenes is understandable. I don't like it, but I understand it. Besides, kids and teens aren't really that rude to me. It's mostly adults. Which baffles the HELL out of me. I mean...if they're old enough to be my parents, then aren't they old enough to know better? And anyway, if I'm to belive my parents, everyone around that age was raised in a much more polite society. So really, these people have no business being such bastards.

Before I get to my example, and the reason I'm ranting about it, let me point something out about me. I'm bipolar with a slant to the depressed side. I used to cut myself because of this. Medication has helped greatly and I don't do that anymore. Nevertheless I still have scars. Noticable ones. Now on to the reason behind the rant.

So I'm at work and I'm waiting on this lady and she's staring at my arm. Staring. Unashamedly. Most people have the decency to not notice, or notice and look away. But not this lady. Finally she looks me in the eye and goes "You know, they make stuff to get rid of that." Now, that statement by itself is only sort of rude. But it was the WAY she said it. She sounded so offended! Like, MY scars were so offensive to HER. I mean what the hell? And even if they were offensive, why would you point them out? It's none of your business. And for the record, that shit doesn't work that well. Trust me, I've been using it for like...three years. People like her are the reason I wear arm warmers to work. (It had slipped down a little that's why she could see them. I need new ones.)

TL;DR People are assholes.
